Can I have my order delivered to a different address?

For orders placed and paid for online you can can chose a different delivery address, plese note that the delivery address cannot be changed once the order has been accepted.

Can I track my Order?

Once you have placed your order we will send you an acknowledgment by email showing details for the items you have ordered along with an order reference.  For orders to be delivered we will process the order once payment has been confirmed (not applicable to approved credit account customers).
We will notify you by email when the order has been despatched. If during the course of processing your order an item is found to be unavailable or delayed, we will inform you by email.
By registering and creating an account on our website you will be able to shop faster, be up to date on an order's status, and keep track of the orders you have previously made.
For orders with collection in-store, you will receive an email as soon as the order is ready to collect. Payment must be made in-store on collection (not applicable to approved credit account customers).

Where can I get technical help with a product I have bought?

Just give us a call during office hours or send an email and we will respond quickly to ensure that you receive help in answering any technical enquiries you may have concerning your purchase.

How do I return an item?

There are different rules governing whether or not an item can be returned to us, which depend on whether the order was supplied to a Business or a Consumer customer and if the goods are faulty or not. Please refer to the Website Terms and Conditions of Supply to Business and Consumers for full details.

Is my personal information and payment information stored securely?

P.S.Building Supplies Ltd does not collect or store payment card details within its servers, Sage Pay and PayPal are used for processing online payments on our behalf using an encrypted secure link. P.S. Building Supplies Ltd has performed the required procedures to validate compliance with the PCI DSS (see Trustwave validation button at the bottom of our website).

Which payment options do you accept?

We accept most major debit and credit cards in addition to PayPal. Customers reserving goods to collect in-store may also pay by cash.
Approved credit account customers will be subject to the usual credit status checks.

How do I check that you have the products I require in stock?

If an item is out of stock or has to be sourced from a supplier's central warehouse, its expected availabilty will be shown under the main product heading. For stock items we aim to despatch the same day for orders received before 1.00pm. If during the course of processing your order an item is found to be unavailable or delayed, we will inform you by email.

How does Click & Collect work?

Reserve your order online for collection in-store. You will receive an email as soon as the order is ready for collection. If during the course of processing your order, an item is found to be unavailable, we will notify you by email. For orders reserved online, payment must be made in store when collecting the order (not applicable to trade credit account customers).
Due to the nature of certain items it may be necessary to carry out assembly and a pre-delivery inspection, we are unable to ship such items by parcel carrier and therefore they must be collected in-store, or delivered personally on our own transport (within a 30-mile radius of our Chelmsford store). Any such items can be identified on the website with ''Pickup only'' under the product heading. If you would prefer us to deliver such items personally then payment must be made over the telephone with delivery to the cardholders address only.
